He is the on-ballot persona of British comedian Jonathan David Harvey. From 2017 to 2018 Harvey performed as Lord Buckethead, contesting the 2017 general election in Maidenhead against Theresa May; he later retired that character and created Count Binface, an independent intergalactic space warrior and leader of the Count Binface Party. Binface describes himself as leader of the Recyclons from the planet Sigma IX and addresses the electorate as "humans", all delivered with a straight face.
